My Brother-in-law has been using a KK 72" tiller on his JD 790 for years now with no problems at all.

Your 60" on your tractor will work fine.

If you have the 60" tiller I would use it instead of buying a new one. Just limit your forward speed appropriately to prevent overloading the engine. Should work just fine for you.
