Which Tiller for L2800?

Looking for recommendations on tillers for my L2800 HST. My local dealer carries Land Pride. I'm OK with that but frankly confused on which size to get and whether I should get a reverse till model - Land Pride has both. My soil is clay, no rocks. I'm tilling up to an acre. I don't want a tiller that is too much for the tractor but I'd like one that is wide enough to cover the tracks if possible.
Any experience out there would be greatly appreciated.

L2800 specs: 29hp, 22hp PTO, 51" wide.

Since Kubota recommends up to 60" on a regular cut and 50" on reverse cut, It would be your call if you want to do a reverse cut on a 60".

Welcome to TBN ! Take a look at CCM's M-160 (58") tiller. My NH TC29DA has similar "specs" to your L2800. I have had no real problems with my M-160 once I cut the two drivelines to the proper lengths. It is a tank. Jay

thanks. Does CCM make the unit? Also, looking at the specs, I noticed it weighs 630lbs! I'm thinking that's going to be too much for my little Kubota.
By the way, no price listed, mind me asking what the unit runs?

I have a 50" Kubota reverse tine tiller for my B2910. I like the tiller. But it takes a lot of power to run. It also has be run slow. Need to have HST on your tractor.
When I first got the tiller I tried to do one pass at full depth. It did it but required that I go very slow. I now till at 4" first pass. Then 8" second pass. 4WD is always needed to to get tractor to pull tiller into untilled soil.
The tiller has a offset that covers right tire. This allows tractor to not drive over tilled soil.
Have you checked price of a reverse tine tiller? You may be shocked at price of these tillers. I got a great deal on mine. Would not have bought it except for the deal.

I am under the impression that the M-160 is made in Turkey and the drivelines in either Spain or Italy. I do not know who makes the gearbox, but the M-160's is 60HP rated ! The steel appears to be of good quality with good paint and welds (compared to other geardrive tillers). The M-160 listed for $1350 and I paid $285 for S&H delivered to my front door. Delivery was "pain free". I believe the M-160 weighs 550#'s. Jay

I don't think you have any issue at all with the weight of that tiller, in fact I think it would bounce less than others when tilling up small rocks.
