There is intense debate about the B vs BX on these forums. As a follow on topic, which of these series is more dependable, needs less repairs, and has fewer design flaws?

I have both and see no difference in problems.

No, actually there's not.

There have been a couple of misguided threads by the same OP in the last couple of weeks. Started as pointless trolls and have drifted onto ROPS and garden tractors.

If I were *renting* compact tractors I would use B21's. Every utility crew in town seems to have one.

Glad we have RDS from Austin to keep us informed as to what is a misguided pointless thread which he has responded to frequently as have many other misguided Kubota owners and a pertinent thread. We're very lucky.:D
Also what's with the renting and the every and the what town have to do with anything? Maybe he should start his own post about renting and utility crews.

I never had a bx, but i put over 1000 hrs on my B7500 and B3030. I never has serious issues with either machine & my machines are commercial use. When we get a northeast blizzard my machine will run for days without stopping.

Fascinating. In another thread the difference was "night and day".

Some people might infer that rental and contractor equipment have to be more robust than consumer equipment. Maybe not noobs that post 600 times in 3 months, but there aren't many of those.

Yeah, we're lucky. No doubt. Amen. Have a good sabbath.

Yeah, we're lucky. No doubt. Amen. Have a good sabbath.

The question was problems. I never said any where "night and day".
The "sabbath" is Saturday by the way.
Know you have a BX so what makes you an expert on B's?
What's a noob? Is that someone that has owned more than one tractor? Or is that someone who just a year ago found this forum? Is there a limit to number of posts? What's a boy scientist?

The question was problems

The question was problems or design flaws. The poster infers an "intense" dichotomy between the series on this forum, which has not been the case. At least in 5 years I have been here.

The "sabbath" is Saturday

Sabbath means 'rest' or 'cessation' and most literally, 'seventh' (shabbat). In English vernacular a day of rest and worship. Saturdays for Jews and some Christian sects, Sundays for most Christians, Fridays for Moslems. Any right good reader knows that.

If you are Adventist or Jewish, my apologies.

what makes you an expert on B's?

Thou sayest it. I never claimed to be expert at anything. Is that necessary to observe there is not "intense debate" between BX and B owners??

What's a boy scientist?

What do you care?

A dedicated mower cuts better than a BX. A B is not a BX. Thanks for the edifying counsel.

I don't think intense debate exists either. A recent post kind of came off wrong and had some people defending their poor BX's . If I hadn't seen the name, I too would have thought someone was trolling.Saying a BX ain't no "B" is like the Harley guys saying the rice burners ain't no Harleys. So? Close enough for me. Same with the BX and the B. For 90% of people they are so close that it doesn't matter which you choose. They will both do the job and do it well. I think that the reason the BX and B get so much ink here is that they are so close that it's a hard decision between the two. I love my BX (minus the abrupt reverse) but the B calls my name. I don't need the "B", just like the look and feel of the next step up. But I, like many others don't gain much by trading up. I like my tractor and haven't heard of many true lemon models, if any. That's the beauty of these things. You can have it forever with proper care. Try that with your car! Happy tractorin'

I get your point, but I think it's closer to saying that the Harley big twin owners rag on the Sportster owners for riding a girls bike.
