Which QA Forks and best price for CK35

I havent got the tractor yet but along with it I want to put on QA forks from time to time in place of the loader. I hear 3400lbs min. but have not a clue. Have seen prices from 400 to 1200 for them to fit the CK35HST. Any help?

mine are rated for 4000 and i paid 800 for them but my wheels fell off.:laughing:

I have a similar sized and rated tractor to your CK35 and I have the Construction attachments forks rated at 1800 lbs.. That is all you need. You need lightweight forks. Not heavyweight forks. These forks weigh 285 lbs.. There are several lightweight brands available. You can pickup a little over 1100 lbs, why would you need forks rated to 3500 lbs? You are just going to lose payload capacity by having heavy duty forks, because they weight more themselves.. What matters is not the weight rating of the forks but the Weight of the forks. Big heavy duty forks are for big tractors and skidsteers that have a lot of lift capacity. Also I would not recommend any forks for our size tractors over 42 inch long.. That is plenty long enough. To long is just more likely to take out your garage wall. Good luck in your hunt..

I agree, why do so many think that they need such high capacity forks?

There are quite a few guys that have forks that are close to or are double or more of what the capacity of their tractor is. :confused2: I have a 75hp tractor that has a lifting capacity of 3900lbs to full height. (11 feet) My forks are rated for 3500lbs, been fine so far. My forks are only 42" and have been fine 99.99% of the time.

I guess that if a person is using them for other than that for what they are intended, that it is safer to have bigger, but I would think that it would be better to just have the proper implement for whatever job it is that they need to be doing. But then again it is nice to be able to have a multi purpose attachment. Ends up being a vicious circle and I guess a line needs to be drawn somewhere.

3400lbs is fine... you can't lift more than 1200lbs. anyway. On a side note which ever you decide, get the 48" tines. I got the 36" because I want more lift. It works ok but now that I upgraded my tractor... should have pick up the 48"...

This what I have on my CK30hst: Construction Attachments 42" Compact Tractor loader Pallet Forks CAL-1PFCMPSM42

They are built well, work great, handle more than what the tractor can lift, and aren't that heavy so I don't lose much in the way of capacity. The company was nice to deal with and if you can pick it up at the terminal, you won't have any extra cost for shipping being that the price includes this.

Same ones I have on my L3400HST. For the same reasons.

you have to take care cuse them wheels come off when you least expect it. I think from what I gather that light wgt forks are better.

This Kioti that I might get has a woods FEL so p/u is 1650. Now that rating is with the bucket on. They wgt oh I dont know 4-500lbs I guess so losing that and adding say 250 actually increases lift. Yes No? When you say the wgt of the forks do you mean the entire platform or just the forks? Do you have any names and places that comes to mind for good prices?
