I will be purchasing one of them by tomorrow-
1986 Ford 1910 with front end loader, shuttle shift, power steering $8500
1996 Kubota B2400 with cab and front end loader, 1,000 hrs w/cab, hydro $8500

I will mainly be using this tractor to do cleanup snow work around our parking lot, building, and docks, and to re-pile snow if the piles get to big. There will be other uses, but his is the main reason.

Any input would certainly be appreciated!
Thanks!

I had heard some reports of the 4x4 fords in that series having issues with the 4x4 part. You may be able to learn more posting in the FNH section.

Given the prices and ages, the K looks better from here. But we can't see either@

As the owner of a older Ford (1900) I would buy the 10 yr. newer Kubota. New parts are expensive and used parts are hard to find. If both tractors were the same age I would stay with Ford N/H.

Especially since snow removal will be your primary use.
Of course we can't see the 2 of them to compare, (I don't even know the differences in size/HP/weight) so all I can imagine is sitting out in a snow storm in an open platform or in a cozy cab sipping a warm cup of whatever, talking on the cell phone, pretty much enjoying the situation, as opposed to cursing the creator as the snow and sleet is piling up on your head/lap.

I'd say if you are asking advice the day before you are going to purchase, you have not done your homework. Sorry if that sounds blunt.

Sorry if this sounds blunt, but I don't think that any decision for just about anything needs to take very long. Educate yourself, make some choices, and then decide on the one. If it is the wrong decision, sell, and make a better one next time. No sense in fretting about it.

I bought the B2400 with a loader, a cab, and a 66" boxblade. It is a hydro with 1000 hours on it and has been garage kept on an a small acreage.

Thanks for the advice.

Tango,

I believe you will be happy. My B21 now has about 1400 hours and has never seen the shop. Still curious about the cab . Sounds like a great combo for your needs.
