Which Model To buy

I know very little about the John Deere Tractor Models and need recommendations for one with cab and front end loader that is big enough to pull a 15 foot batwing mower. Any and all suggestions for me to research appreciated. I am located in Northeast Texas. Thanks in advance.

5603 or 5625.

Both are 99 hp cab tractors. 5625 has more bells and whistles. They both run the same 4.5L, 4 cyl, turbo motor.

I wouldn't go anything below a 5525. you might want to check out a 5603(more bang for your buck tractor), 5625(lots of fancies in this series), and most likely what you'll want to give a hard look at is any 6000 series. Farmwithjunk has a mowing business and i know he uses a 6430(Deere's delux model in this series) with his 15' batwing. The highway dept. here doesnt run anything under 100hp for their batwings, and I usually see them hooked to a 7000 series tractor.

I bought a 5525 almost 3 yrs ago for that exact job. Today, I would consider the 5625 or the 5603. Do you need a 3rd valve on the FEL? If so, consider the 5x25.

I have a 5525 cab with JD HX-15 batwing - love it.
