That old snowblower sounds like the big heavy monster
which is different than the quick hitch snowblower of today.
The mounting is completely different, but I can't say that
you couldn't make it work. I believe that blower also
has a gearbox drive vs. the chain drive on the quick hitch
blowers.
They were heavy, and used on the 318's, and the older 400 series tractors. Required a large amount of rear ballast also.
Now, I once made that style of snowblower fit up to a JD 4310, and for those that think their tractors are narrow, boy
was this an odd deal. But, the munincipality that bought it did not want the 4115 tractor to replace their 855, and they could not use a 59" snowblower on their sidewalks. With the AG tires, on that 4310, I think we had it narrowed to 53", which was acceptable. Then we mounted this heavy duty style of 47" blower on the same hitch setup as the 59 blower used.
I think with some modification , you may be able to adapt something like that to your 4110, but it won't fit a quick hitch.
