which is better?

Thinking of buying a Mitsubishi (not sure which one I need, I am still new to this game). I have about 3 acres cleared land that i need to keep clear with a bush hog and finish mow around my house. I have a 700' gravel driveway to maintain, and 4.5 acres of Pine trees that I am thining out at my leisure (3 or 4 weekend just to open up the woods a little). So if anyone has an idea on the smallest Mitsubishi I could get by with just let me know.

Is there a reason you want to buy a Mitsubishi vs. any other japanese compact?

In most parts of the US Mitsus are a bit hard to find, and (I hope you realize) they are not currently sold new in the US. Anyhow, even a small Beaver or MT372 could do the work you describle, just not as quickly as a larger tractor.

The reason I am looking at the Mitsubishi is because they have 4 cylinders. That is just something I wanted. I am not against anyother tractor, Mitsubishi is just where I started looking. If you have points to make for other makes let me know about them, I plan on buying a tractor within the next six months. As far as finding a Mitsubishi, I live within 2 hours of 2 dealers who have gray market mitsubishies. THey also have Yanmar, and Iseki. I would appreciate your comments on other tractors so that I could make a better decision.

OK I gotcha. I looked at a 2050 one time, 4cyl nice tractor, but I found parts harder to find than comparable size Yanmars...maybe someone else will chime in. I do like the 1850, 2050, 2350? series of tractors despite their age.

I bought one from Corriher Implement in Newton and have been satisfied. It's a FD1450D, 3 cyl diesel 4wd. Parts are available through several vendors who frequently post on the Mitubishi Yahoo club site. Anything you need.
