which hydraulic fluid to use

I have added new front end loader and am wondering what type of fluid to add.

I read the loader manual and it states to use Tranny fluid.

I read in the forum that most machines use the Hydrostatic drive and the loader hydraulics from the same reservoir.

If so, what is the recommended fluid (preferably something that I can get at an auto parts place)
