For a Kubota L3130, whats the diff between a LA 723 and LA 513 FEL?

Funny you should ask... I've been looking into this a lot as I bought my 3130 with the LA513 loader, and have been investigating upgrading.

The LA723 loader has about 500 pounds more lift capacity, a higher breakout/rollback force, a slightly longer reach (higher lift height), and four point linkage (which gives the bucket a greater range of motion). It also has a beefier subframe, which Kubota requires to mount its BH-90 backhoe.

I would suggest you check out Kubota's website, they have a side-by-side comparison of both loaders.

BTW, make sure you spend enough time researching this so you choose the correct loader for your needs. I don't really need a 723 loader, but from calling around I've found out that I'm stuck with my 513. Apparently it's quite the ordeal to swap out loaders, especially now since the Lxx40s have come out with their equivalent new loaders, so no one wants the Lxx30 loaders anymore. It would also cost quite a bit to do this. I'd be better off to trade in the whole tractor just to upgrade the loader...
