I've two Badlands 2500lb winches and multiple vehicles on which to use them.

So far I've just been using jumper cables to hook them up.

I want to get some quick-connects for 6AWG wires so I can mount the quick-connects on my tractors and trucks, put quick connects on the winch then have an easier plug and play experience.

But looking at pairs of quick connects they run in price from $4 to $20 pair and I can't tell the good from the bad.

Does anyone have any recommended brands to get or avoid?

I use these connectors. I have them mounted on my tractor and truck.
On the tractor I use it to power a winch and on my diesel tank pump for quick fuel refills.
On the truck I have a connector on front for easy plug in of jumper cables so I don't have to pop the hood. I could also plug in a winch if I decide I need one on the front and another on the rear for my rear hitch mounted 500# lift.

Whichever ones you get stay with the same color. The red and gray plugs are not interchangeable with each other.

Thanks for the links.
$12 on ebay, $19 on Amazon
$28 to $30 on ebay, $22 Amazon

I was looking at a 5 pair pack of the small ones made by X Haeibi for $44 on eBay, $39 on Amazon, wish they had the little caps.

There are cheaper ones but if you've used the X Haeibi and like them that seems like a TBN recommendation.

Don't know if I'd consider it a TBN recommendation but is a TBN member recommendation. I've used them for many years. Bought some at the sites I posted, some at flea markets, car show flea markets, no name connectors etc. I found the gray fits the gray and red fits red connectors. I don't crimp the connector but do solder the wires into the connector and let cool before inserting in the plastic housing. I have also unsoldered and reused connectors. they are easy to remove with a small screwdriver.

I also bought 4ga rolls of wire below.

I use battery quick connects all the time. Have been making purchases from this vendor without issue, all good products, nothing Chinese unless indicated. worth a look.

Perhaps the best brand in terms of quality for these connectors is Anderson Power. "Anderson" is often used as a generic name for this style of power connector regardless of the actual manufacturer. I've used one pair of X-H on a 3500 lb winch and never had any problem with them either.

I also use Anderson connectors, they came with the winch and I bought more.

I have a winch on my truck, Jeep and tractor, along with high amperage inverters and 1 gauge jumper cables and use these connectors on them all. Plus I believe they are compatible with Anderson brand connectors, which not all are. I also replaced similar quick connects I had as these have a higher build quality than the others I had.

Use the largest diameter wire appropriate for the task to minimize voltage drop. I use 0 gauge to 4 gauge- depending. On the tractor I have 1 gauge (or maybe 0 gauge) running from the battery back to the 3PH area and terminated with these connectors.

I would email the vendor and verify Anderson compatibility.

For sure those Anderson are great.
Electric fork lifts use them for battery connection and charging
Tow trucks use them for booster cables,
My tractor and truck are equipped for boosting that way as are my cables.
My winch is set up with anderson as well.

To best of my knowledge the clones are compatible with anderson as well.

Anderson is the only way to go. Outstanding quality.
