Backhoe which backhoe bucket size?

I bought my L35 with both 12" and 24" buckets. In the 2 years I've had the tractor I have yet not used the 12".

My ground is hard clay with rocks. The 24" has done well. I'm impressed. My backhoe seems to have more than plenty of go-juice. Unlike my FEL. It seems a hair on the weak side.

I got a 12 and a 24. I wish I had got the 36 instead of the 24 now as it is clear to me I would only use the 24 for scooping large amounts of dirt. I just couldn't imagine a 3' bucket on the end of my 511 before I got it, but now I know it could handle it and wish I would have got the extra capacity. You'll use the 12" all the time. I just did 250' of trench this weekend and I can't get enough of it!
