Which attachment for roots and brush

We will be clearing a new homesite and I have about an acre of brush, saplings and heavy grasses that I would like to remove from the topsoil before we have a dozer strip the topsoil and pile it. I have run thru with my box blade with the teeth down and it has done an ok job, but there still is a lot of brush and roots left. Is there an implement out there that I should be using instead? it is sandy loam.
