Rear Finish Mower Which 3pt finish mower is best value?

I have had a First Choice mower for three years now. I picked it up used from my plumber for $500. It is a little rough cosmetically but it does a good job. I use itprimarily on a rough 4 acres that is too rough to use my ZTR.

I have noticed over the last year that I have watching Craig's List many RFMs for sale-I think I would go that route if ever had to replace mine. Many of the RFMs are nealy new-perhaps people buy them and don't like mowing with them?

For parts availability and price I'll take your word. For features and quality give me some stats with the mowers listed above verses Woods. I bought my Woods based on features and quality. How are these mowers, price and parts availability aside, better than a Woods?

Thanks for the recommendations. Ultimately, I go so depressed over the thought of spending $2k for a new one that I'm spending $200 to fix my old one after all. The fact that my wife just made me spend $1k on a horse and several times that on a trip did add into my decision . . .

Just keep an eye on Craigslist (or use Search Tempest to increase the scope of any CL search). Nice RFM's show up now and then....last one I looked at was a nice Woods (quite similar to my Woods built Frontier) 72" mower for $1400.
