Where to Watch for a Used Excavator Head?

I'm on the lookout for a used Fecon or CIMAF head. Want to mount it on a Timbco 425D feller so it has to be large. The Fecon model would be in the area of the BH80 and the CIMAF model would be a DAH150.

I've been scouring the 'net until my head's swimming :confused2: and missed out on a Fecon yesterday.

So I'm hoping someone can help me focus my search. Are these things really as rare as hen's teeth or am I just not dialed in yet?

There is only one used Cimaf head that I know of. And actually it is in Tx. But here is the problem you will be up against. I'm not sure of the flow the Timbo puts out but over 55-60 gpm we would reccommend a motor upgrade to a larger motor to match the flow. So even if you found a used head I doubt if would be a good match for the Timbco. I bet you will have some of the same issues with the Fecon as well, they are sized accordingly as well.
Call me tomorrow and you we'll bounce around a few ideas and numbers. The machine will be the big hit the head wont hurt as bad.

I got a very low hr DAH-150 for sale, 160cc motor I believe. Talk to Gilles Denis he will tell you if it'll work on the timbco. My ex is putting out about 59 gpm @ 5500 I think. I cant remember tho. Has all new teeth, new drive belt, trap door. Has 350 hrs on it. Located in Gimli, Mb, Canada. Gilles and Frederic have my number.
