Where to Run Battery Minder Quick-Connect Cable

I placed my connector under the radiator cap door.
When I get on the tractor its quite visible that it is up.
Yes I have had to get off the tractor many times and unplug.

Just peaks out of drivers side cowl. I can maintain with hood open or closed. JD stool with maintainer on it and plugged in, always sits in front or near drivers door.

I purchased a weatherproof "SAE connector port" and installed it behind the seat. The wires run through an existing hole in the sheet metal under the seat, then navigates under the operator's station, connecting to the starter cable bolt.

My need was for an electric herbicide pump and tank that mounts on my 3 point. I guess if I have to use a battery charger/minder, I could set that unit on the seat to be sure I don't drive off with it connected.

Hi all,

It's been a while, but here I am with a question:

Rather than reinvent the wheel, I wanted to ask folks to post a pic of where they've run the "SAE Quick-Connect" electrical cable to their BatterMINDer or battery maintainer (which is not mounted to the tractor)? IOW, I have the RTA-2415 "Ring Terminal Assembly" (see link below) and after I attach the ring terminals to the battery, I want to run the "quick connector's" cable to the most accessible location I can, and just zip-tie the cable in place. Then I'll no longer have to open the hood to connect the BatteryMINDer.

Here is an image of the cable I'm talking about: BatteryMINDer Ring Terminal Assembly

I leave my FEL on full-time so I'll need to work around that, and my B3000 is cabbed, so I'd love to see what ideas better, more experienced minds than mine have come up with, for locating the quick-connect cable.

Thanks in advance.

When I'm out and about, it's inside the hood. When I connect it, I just stick it out like this:

Wow--so many great solutions! I especially appreciate the pics (and the time and effort it took to post them) as a pic is worth a 1,000 words, etc.... I will definitely give some thought as to how to prevent "accidental drive-offs" if I route it so the hood is down, as that is something I completely overlooked.

Thanks, again, to ALL!

There is the magnetic coupler actually built for this purpose too.
