where to get lat/long from street addresses?

I need to find a place where I can input a street or street address and get lat and long coordinates.

I was using totpzone.com.. but thair site does not seem to be working.

I'm filling out a NPDES permit at it unfortunately requires that info.

Any ideas guys?

After you locate a map of your address -- it should display the Lat/Long values.

If you have a GPS receiver, they all will read out lat/long. Sorry this is not an answer to your question, but maybe it might help.

Tera serve worked great... and the idea about a GPS unit wasn't a bad idea either.. it made my dusty mind remember that our guys have nextell I-530 phones.... with built in gps recievers... so my problem was solved. i calle dout to the job and got one of our men to get the coordinates for me.

As always.. i know where to come for the info.

Soundguy, we use Nextel GPS equipped phones with our fleet drivers, I believe they are only accurate to within 50 feet. The best of the recreational use GPS units are accurate to within 3 meters.

That accuracy level is fine. I only need the data to fill out an area survey for a water permit. The road we are building is a few miles long.. but they need a 'reference' point for it for the inspector... etc.
