Where to get JD 1518 specs?

Anyone know where I can get specs for a JD 1518 rotary cutter? Have searched this site and others without luck. Trying to determine if I need to hire a truck to pick it up or if I can haul it. Any suggetions on hauling tips would be appriciated.

I've hauled one with a 16 foot trailer. If you don't have a loader, back the trailer into a ditch and back the shredder in. Make sure the wings are mechanically locked in transport mode.

Where do you suggest connecting the chains to the batwing to lift it with a loader keep from damaging it? They have a fork lift at the place I will purchse, and I have forks for my loader, but not sure they are long enough.

I don't know much about a JD 1518, but my Rhino easily weighs over 4000 pounds. As far a picking it up with forks, assuming your tractor can handle it. I would spread the forks as wide as they go and come in from the front or back (whichever is easier to get close to the body), and run a chain from the top of the bucket to the other side of the shredder to form a triangle. Then maybe a chain to each side to stabilize it. After saying all that, I still think it is easier to back it up onto a 16 foot trailer.

The guy I am buying it from does not have anything to hook it up to as far as a tractor with hydrualics. He does have a fork lift. If i had a way to get the wheels down and hook it up, i would pick it up myself on my 18 foot trailer.

The guy could load it on your trailer with his forklift and have the tongue of the shredder toward the back of the trailer. When you get to your place you can drag the shredder off either using ramps or by backing up to a ditch.
