Spreader Where to find PTO shaft with key on implement end?

I have a Massey 160 Spreader that needs a new PTO shaft. It is a 1" with keyway on the stub that is on the implement. The PTO shaft will need a 1/4" key. I ordered what I thought was correct from Agri-Supply but it's wrong--has the keyway, not the key. I priced one at a local tractor store (before ordering from ASC) and the price was over $250. Any ideas where to get this for less than $250.

Your new shaft is probably correct. Both the shaft and yoke will have keyways; the key is a separate part. Either a square or woodruff key depending on the cut of the input shaft.

Yep......you need a piece of keystock and cut to size (if its a straight key). Or as mentioned, the correct size woodruff key.

Got a picture of the keyway on the input shaft of the spreader? NAPA carries both woodruff and straight key stock.
