Where to find Mobil 1 Delvac syn in Ontario??

Hi All,

I am having a hard time finding Mobil 1 Delcav 1300 oil in Ontario, Canada. Can anyone help?

I just came back from Harrisburg, PA, and could not find it there.

Can I use regular M1 synthetics in our MF1523?

What about Petro-Canada's line of Duron synthetics??

I use regular Mobil 1 5w30 in my JD and in my 1983 Benz diesel. Next change, I plan to switch all vehicles to the new Mobil 1 0w30 except maybe the Benz. Will reread the owner's manual on it to see if the 30 grade is okay in it, but I have some 5w40 Mobil 1 to change it already anyway. I change them all every fall.

For the synthetic Mobil One Turbo Diesel ag oil, you can find it at a distributor of Mobil products and expect to pay the long dollar because of limited demand.
A better way, if you are looking for the synthetic oil is to look for Mobil One Turbo-Diesel ( I thnk it's 5W40) synthetic oil at WalMart in gallons. I understand it to be the same as the Delvac synthetic but repackaged for wider consumer use and mass marketed. I use it.
I also use Rotella sythetic (@ WMT) and it's fine and I have used Deere 0-40 synthetic (sometimes marked "semi-synthetic" but is full syn)
Regular Mobil One is probably not rated for use in your tractor. Look in the owners manual for a rating and compare to your oil can rating. Do a little searching. Synthetic is so much easier on the engine.

I was doing some research at Canadian Tire, and noticed that they sell Red Line Oil . I am gonna go that route.

Hi Will,

I picked some Delvac1 this Spring from Noco, in Etobicoke, ON.

NOCO Lubricants Canada, Inc.

Not cheap.

I had a Mobil 1 link that indicated Mobil 1 Truck Turbo Diesel was the same as Delvac, but it has been removed. Could be re-formulated (?), or they don't want to erode their margins on Delvac.
