where to buy large steel O or D- rings

check out your local machine shop/concrete forming shop

they should have a ring'n machine, ment to bend rebar into rings for concrete pillar cages.

you should be able to get some 1/2 x 8" rings

Wow, i was going get on and ask the same question. I used 3" rings bought from a hardware store. They didn't last one plowing. I really like the idea of coil springs. Did you weld the ends or how did you finish the circle. Thanks
