I too am in S.E. Mass. Grew up in the New Bedford area and now living 25 miles north of there. Looks like you and I are in for the worst. I just read 12 to 18 inches too.
Just bought my first ever Cub in the fall but I didn't buy a blower for it. Bet it's more fun riding than walking. I will be relying on my trusty Husqvarna walk behind.
