Where is the list of every greasing location on my GC1710

Gotta love the Central Lube on some of our machines at the shop. Every point where grease is needs is attached to a line that goes to a single, central location (possibly multiples on really large equipment). Pump a shot in each zerk and you are done. :D

I'm just going through this myself. Page 4-5 of the owner's manual shows the graphic for the GC1705/GC1710/GC1715/GC1720 tractor. You'll have to refer to other manuals for other equipment.

Man, grease sure doesn't flow very well when it's 20 degrees during the day.

I see a post like this and I think. . . . . I pledge to get a locknlube coupler this year. . . . But that $ 29.95 price tag by mail order is a mental barrier lol. Darn I wish I could find them locally . . . I swear, there is no retailer carrying them cause I sure have looked. :)

LOL, same thought process here. My dealer is a bit out of the way but they do stock them! Dealer price was same as everywhere else. Prices seem pretty much fixed on these things.

I grease my 1705 at at least once a month depending on how much I use it when I do grease it I pull it up my car ramps so I can roll around and with a flashlight check and double check where as said any 2 or more things come together grease it if you can.

Both of our four-sided moulders have, I don't know - maybe 30-40 grease fittings. For the last 20-30 years most machines like this have "central lubrication", where each grease fitting is connected to a flexible line that goes to one or more central locations with multiple zerks. Of course, it doesn't work for things like U-joints (for instance, Cardan Drive joints in our machines), but 90% or more of our machines fittings can be greased from a couple 5" x 8" arrays.

That post I wrote in April 2017. And that post expressed my almost year and a half mentalr esistance to doing it. So after writing that post another 8 months passed. I finally found a way after more than 2 years of wanting something. . . to beat the mental resistance to doing it. I put it on my Christmas wish list. Lol.

And now it's really cold wisconsin winter and I need to clean up all my grease/zerk locations on the tractor so I can really judge the imagined benefits the locknlube actually accomplishes lol. Fortunately the GC1715 isn't some big tractor or I'd put it off to Spring lol.
