my new to me toolcat did not come with a block heater:mad: and am looking to put one in and am looking to find out exactly where it is on the motor so I know which soft plug to pull, any help and pics would be great....

They just came out and installed mine a few hours ago. It is the only freeze plug you can see at the rear of the head (with the bed tilted up).

Boy, you have to love that little 400 watt block heater. I had it plugged in today for what turned out to be about 2-2.5 hrs in 23F weather and when I turned the key on to light the glow plugs, the temp gauge needle was in the green about where it is when it is running and hot. Of course once I started it, the needle went down to the edge of the gray zone while the coolant circulated but there was almost instant heat. I wish I could heat the 12-14 gallons of hydro oil up like that as well so I can start plowing or blowing immediately.
