I have a used SAME Solaris 35, but no manual. I'd like to buy a manual new or used, and I'd like someone to tell me where the battery is hidden.
Where is the battery?

hint. find the starter.. follow the BIG cable on it.. it eventually will lead you to a battery. will make a stopover at a BIG switch.. but WILL take you to a battery!

I've talked to people that thought the hyd pump on 53-64 ford tractors was the starter. it's driven off the rar of the engine by a cam gear, on the upper right side. has no wire going to it.. just a plumbing manifold going under the tractor... yet the starter is on the lwer left side with the big wire going to it... and yeah.. some have deffinately mixed them up....
