Yeah.I see some of you guys have carports more or less for cover with no sides or ends. I sure hope you have those poles rooted to the bowls of Hades and some serious roof reinforcement going on. I have seen those things turned into pretzels in winds not near hurricane strength.
Concur on the bent portable garages - same thing happened with mine. Total waste of time and money. I ended up building a double carport that has managed to survive pretty bad windstorms to date.
My tractor sometimes sits parked under the carport if I don't feel the need to put it in the workshop. It just squeezes under with a couple of inches to spare (5" actually). That makes it handy to use first thing.
