Yes it is a crime mountain ,i contemplated this for a year before i pulled the trigger.. anyone need allis parts? yes i do need liability to cover every ones arse.

Should get at least a $1mill umbrella policy... your arse can get frost bit hanging out without anything covering it....

Thanks guys, so the grant is a California air resources board program. It is an incentive grant to get old non tier 4 final engines off the farm/earth. Look up carl moyer grant. In evert county they run it a little different but luckily im is a small tractor having market....they reimburse me 80 percent of the cost after i complete all the requirements. It is a like for like but can go up or down 25% in hp. They use a cost effectiveness calculator that determines your ranking and they give money form number 1 on down till the run out of money. San Diego has about 3 million to give.

I just sold my dad's two D-17's last month. They had sit in the barn for over 16 years after he retired. Both were series 4's. Good tractors that pull hard and drink gas hard.

I ended up going with a Special Perils rider on my home owners through Michigan Farm Bureau. Was way cheaper to do this than carrying the scheduled items I was. Plus, it was more flexible for the tractor. I can take the tractor off property and still be covered.

As an aside, I was helping out my son by insuring his racing bicycle (Triathilon). Replacement would be around $4000.00. Previous company was charging me $35 to cover it as a scheduled item. MFB wanted (now sit down!) $175.00 to cover the bike. Reason was high theft rate on bicycles. This is what got my agent sharpening his pencil and getting me into the Special Perils policy.

In New York state anyways;I have my home and auto through an agent;when I called about insuring my tractor he advised me that the only thing available was called and "inland marine policy".So for $157.00 a year mine is insured for fire/theft ect.No riders available on home-owners.

My home is insured thru State Farm. The tractor is covered under this policy w/out any additional riders. The downside - its only covered while the tractor is used on my property. This coverage was explained to me by my State Farm agent.

Second this statement. I have Allstate and was zero additional cost.

Mine is thru USAA with Great American Insurance Co of New York. $21000. 700 for 3 years billed 133 every 6 months

Just wondering what size tractors you that have them on statefarm and allstate at no additional cost? Are they compact tractors or sub compact or full size and also what hp?
