Where do I find out the model of my tractor?

I need some help. I acquired a Mitsubishi 4wd tractor that wet along with the house and 4 acres. I can't find any place for ID numbers. I was using it to cut grass Monday night and was backing up in low range. When I went to shift into high range it wouldn't come out of low range the lever moves freely but the tractor is in low range. I drove it to my out building and put it in neutral tried shifting from high to low and through the midrange, I put it in gear and now I have nothing!! Can anybody help me!!!! please!

If you could post a picture that would help. My Satoh has a sticker on the side of the frame near the front that has the model number and horsepower. Can't remember which side. Don't know about the shifter, will have to look at mine or maybe someone else will jump in here. I know my Satoh 4WD shifter had a roll pin fall out inside the torque tube. Took two bolts off, pull that shifter out, put a new roll pin back in and was going again in 5 minutes. Don't know if the range shifter is the same way but could be. There is no fluid in the torque tube. (between the transmission and engine/bell housing.)

Update, I found the model #. The tractor is a MT21D, hopefully this weekend I will be able to check it out.
