I am adding a 3rd function to my tractor for a grapple. I would like a D03 or D05 sub plate with A, and B out the top, and T and P out the bottom like the one W R Long offers, but there are no prices on their site. Can someone direct me to the right place please?

I think what you want is "Side Ported" (2 ports on 2 opposite sides) instead of "Perimeter Ported" (1 port on each of 4 sides).

I got mine here but be prepared for "Sticker shock" compared to Perimeter ported plate costs. The block is thicker and extra machining is required so it cost more.
Aluminum D03 Side Ported Subplate
** Edit - this link loaded for me the first time but it would never load after that. I think the web site is screwed up.

Specs are in the catalog here.

It's on Page 39 of this PDF but marked as Page 81 of their actual catalog.

A google search for "Aluminum D03 Side Ported Subplate" brings up other sources but I am not sure about some of them.

ND2Fire,

I believe the sub plate I am looking for would be referred to as top and bottom ported (I'm not sure though as I am new to this). I want the fittings to be behind where the solenoids are on the valve as it will be in sort of a tight place.

I called W. R. Long and they state that I would need to order it through a dealer, but the MSRP is $40.71. I have called a local dealer and they are going to call back with a price.

One will be ordered through my local dealer the beginning of next week. Thank you for all the help.

That would be $407.10 in Cessna Dollars.

Sorry about that, It's been a while and I was going from memory of someone else's pictures of a W.R. Long kit (I built my own setup). And that MSRP is cheaper than the one I linked from Magnaloy anyway.

Good luck with your build.

Thank you, I was actually looking at that exact valve and sub plate. My tractor flows 12.3 GPM so I ended up going with the D03. My main concern is that I am pretty limited on space because my tractor is so compact. That setup looks like the lines would be running side to side and the solenoids on the valve would be running up and down. I really wanted to find something where the lines run the same direction as the solenoids to fit in a tighter area.

That’s not the correct valve , that’s a 120 volt coil and it’s not a tandem center style.

Where are you planning to mount it? I ended up putting ours under the seat (Kioti CK35) because I found (barely) enough space and it's protected from about anything.

I did a write up on our 3rd function build. I attached it below in case you care to read it for ideas.

N2DFire,

Thank you that is a very nice write up. I didn't go with a full size grapple. I ended up going with a small stump grapple as I have quite a few trees to move. I will have to post pics along the way with my progress.

You are most welcome. I found a TON of great info & help here when I was building mine so I was just trying to pass it along.

Definitely post pictures! Everyone loves pix plus it helps the next guy.

Good luck with the project, can't wait to see it.
