Where are the boys?

In grade 9 I was one of four boys in a class of 28 girls.:thumbsup:

Seems most I know have girls and lots of them...

My nephew has always been outnumbered... only boy in the neighborhood and 1 of 4 boys in class with 17 girls this year...

Most of the meet up type activities are full of girls... hiking and playing sports like soccer... very few boys.

Have to wonder what the real stats are?

I doubt the statistics are changing much, but I can think of a couple of places the little boys are - in detention and waiting for the little girls to grow up.

Yeah, I just wonder what is the reason? Men take more risks? Work physically more dangerous jobs? Don't care as much about preservation of life? We all know the females are the better half... I guess it is good the scales are tipping in their favor... for mankind sake!

There are some interesting maps out there that show areas of the world where the ratio is more men than women. Guess where most of the world's trouble spots are? Why? Angry young men with no chance of landing a woman. Its not funny. Its sad. Google the maps and make your own conclusions. :confused3:

Several boys on the beach yesterday playing rough and tumble like they should. There was a pretty even mix for the first time.

The two twenty something German girls staying next to us were laying out and we noticed that every male from eight to eighty had to walk by for some reason. They are wearing very small flesh colored bikinis. The girls that is.

The girls thought it was cute that I was flying a Barbie kite for my granddaughter.

Gotta make an impression somehow !!

If I recall, there have always been a slight surplus of males born, but men (and boys) tend to die in accidents more often and die earlier from old age.

I guess it's nature's way of adjusting for us guys that don't take as good of care of ourselves!
