Scattered on my property no doubt. Anyway it's worth checking the central nut under the BX24 seat support for tightness. Mine was loose and further inspection revealed 3 of my 4 plastic seat spacers missing, and one of the steel balls was also bidding for freedom.
The parts manual shows two nuts and a regular washer should be on that bolt. I've only ever noticed one bolt. I've now replaced the washer with a lock washer.
It seems that gravity and seat pressure is meant to keep the four spacers in place at the corners of the seat support plate, but if the seat gets loose they probably stick to the seat and get pulled out during use, especially when rotating the seat to operate the backhoe.
Has anyone else improvised those spacers or thought about methods to retain them? Perhaps by screwing a washer into their underside?
They cost around $5 each - not a big deal if I replace them once but I don't want to keep losing them.
For reference the part number is K2591-56670 SPACER TURN SEAT.
