It's a hydrogen/NG burner for a power plant.

one that makes the steam that powers the turbines which spins the generators that
make our pc screens stay on? A very impressive piece of work.

Curious if more than one person welded on this burner. Does one autograph their work?

To be honest I am not really sure exactly how it is applied, I would imagine steam. It is at a shop of a friend of mine. I don't weld all of the device, mostly just the Stainless and Inconel parts but some of the iron too. Yes, every welder has his own stamp, so they know who to come back to if a part fails DP or X-ray.

By the same logic, we would all have nitrogen and co2 pooling in our lungs. Besides, the turbulance of a few fast deep breaths would clear any gas out, even a super heavy gas such as xenon.
