When is the M8540N cab coming out?

I am planning on buying a new vineyard tractor but have been waiting on a few things which I don't mind as I have been hoping the M8540N would be coming out soon. Is the cab model still coming out in August? So far Kubota's site only shows a picture of the cab model but the specs only show the open station model.

Neil or anyone else who knows anything about these tractors, if you could would you please give me a rough time frame as to when they are being released and what tranny will it have. Hopefully it will have at least a 12x12. Also, do any of you know if it will have a front 3pt and pto option?

Our Kubota store is not in an area where you see many vinyard tractors, so I can't say for sure. I'm surprised they are not shipping. I am due to get one of the Power Krawlers shortly and they are basicly the same tractor.

No front 3pt or PTO, that I know. I think its 12x12.

I figure when the power krawler is out the tired version will be out as well. I just want to see one in person and give it a run to see how it stacks up with the CNH and JD narrow machines.

One thing I am really starting to lean towards is a front 3pt and PTO which seems to limit my options to the NH TN95FA which if I buy one you know it won't be bought from my local dealer Neil

Neil, I just received an e-mail from Kubota stating their new vineyard tractors are out and should be at the dealers now. They also said they are available with a front 3pt and pto. Can you confirm this?

duh... not that I've seen. The dealer meeting is in a few weeks.. I would not be surprised to see one there.

Well, if it is please let me know. I am going to contact a few dealers around here and see if any of them have these tractors like Kubota said

Local dealer has ads out trying to get cities works departments interested in the crawler model for sidewalk snow removal. No orchards around to speak off. Another dealer suggested forestry use but I don't think so.

Robert,

The new M8540 narrow cab is out now as is the M7040 narrow cab tractor. The ROPS versioins were released in 2007.

Your Kubota dealer is able to assist you with specs and availability information.

I called my one Kubota dealer yesterday and he had no idea, today he called me back and said he does have one on the lot as well as literature, specs and pricing. So hopefully I can make it out there soon to look it over.
