2006 Kioti DK35
I recently bought a 2006 Kioti DK35. I didn't realize until I got home that it doesn't have a seat belt! (I test drove it before purchase, but it was on flat ground and didn't even think of looking for a belt). It has a ROPS, but what good is ROPS without a belt? I don't see any holes or anything that look like a belt was removed.

So, does anyone know did the 2006 Kiotis have belts from the factory?

If yes, could someone post pics so I can see how/where they were installed?

If no, are aftermarket belts available?

I have a steep, hilly property, and reading threads about rollovers has gotten me worried.

I have never owned a Kioti, but My 2002 Kubota B7500 had a belt, my 1999 New Holland TC33DA had a belt, and my 1992 Long 2360 had a belt, I am thinking every tractor made since ROPS came out had a belt, and I bet you 2006 Kioti had one too, and someone took it off and threw it away. Like you, I would be looking into getting one back on it.

Here's the spec sheet for a 2006 DK35, look down where it say's "With your safety in mind", as kuoa stated, I would be looking at getting it replaced.

My 2004 came with a belt. Sounds to me like someone took them off.

Never priced or purchased a seat belt for a tractor. Have purchased a seat belt for a truck, Pricey.

The seat belt was the first thing I took off after folding the ROPS. I have never had a tractor with a seat belt before. I suppose if I worked on hilly terrain it would be useful but they only get in my way now. The seat belt was fairly generic looking I can't imagine it costs too much to replace.

Here ya go, this is a 2008 DK35, should be the same if they haven't replaced the seat.

Thanks for the pic - that's very helpful. I just went and checked and my seat is a slightly different design, but I think I can see how it hooked up.

I always wondered about the function of a ROPS. I guess if the machine went onto its side, the ROPS would stop it from doing a 180.
I view seatbelts with the same suspicion as requiring them on a motorcycle. As slow as tractors travel, I would rather risk jumping off than going down with the ship, er tractor!
