Are there wheel weights available for a 4400 deere tractor. Thank you in advance

Yes, and likely the same weights fit many things and are broadly interchangible. Maybe two weights for the entire line. Even at retail not too badly priced. It will take some time but you can educate yourself on the JD website.

Hello out there - some opinions please.

For the past 9 years I've had a 16 hp kubota with a rear snowblower. In addition, I had the rear wheels loaded and the blower worked just fine. Three knee surguries on my right knee later - turning in my seat to go in reverse to clean the snow from my one half mile driveway has reached its end.
I just purchased a JD 2320 with a front mounted blower. As before, I plan to have the rear tires loaded and I'm concerned as to whether or not the loaded tires would be enough weight on the ground or should I get wheel weights as well. I opted for not getting the ballast box. Any opinions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
EJ

Welcome to TBN EJ:D

Did you get a FEL (Front End Loader) with your machine? If you did, and possible if you didn't I would suggest the ballast box with a I-Match or other quick hitch. There is not any easier method to add/remove weight from the rear of the tractor IMHO.

I recently purchased a 2320 with the blower as well, and I chose to get 4 wheel weights mounted (2 each side) instead of loaded tires. That allows me to remove the weights for summer mowing. I realize the ballast box would have been an option, but the way we use the area of our garage the tractor resides, the extra length that would have added just wasn't an option. I've got turf tires, and with the wheel weights I never had any problems blowing 3-4 ft. drifts and operating on an icy sloped smooth concrete drive. The blower only weighs about 250 lb., so balancing that out really does not require a lot of ballast.

EJD: Been snow blowing with a 4110 for a few years. Tires are not loaded, 300 foot drive with a few 7-9 degree swells. If snow to be removed is less than 12 inches, no problem with just tractor/blower, no ballast. If it gets deeper (or icy), a quick heel flick of 4wd takes care of the issue. I do have the option of attaching a ballast box and it DOES reduce 2wd wheel slip, particularily on the hilly sections. I don't routinely use it in the winter due to garage space constraints. I never loaded the tires due to temp concerns--- have seen 40 below air temps and finding something other than salt that won't freeze/slush at those temps is challenging (methanol would work). Good luck
