Chains Wheel spacers?

I have a eMax20 and may want or need to put tire chains on it. There is not very much clearance between tire and frame bolts as in 1/2 to 3/4 of inch. Any known spacers or ideas.

I’d be inclined to look into front chains. But if you need spacers I’d contact BX Expanded.

Glad you brought this up, I hadn't thought to check clearance before ordering rear chains

My 1815 doesn't appear to have this problem, lots of room front of tire to frame and about 1 1/4" rear of tire to 3-point turnbuckle.


I have ordered these ATV chains ATV Twist Link Tire Chain Diamond Studded - Part no. ATV3DS they seem to fit your tire size.

They appear to fit the tire in the picture very snug, could be a lot different on an industrial tractor tire though.

Thats not all that much clearance, sometimes the tire chain connector will take or need more clearance room depending on the connector and then if the chains get loose that might start hitting parts of tractor, that bang bang sound of chains hitting something is not a good sound to have. But there are usually some ways of making things work...........

I bought 1.5" rear wheel spacers for an emax20 with industrial tires from motorsport-tech.com for the same reason and are happy with them. 1.5" is pushing the limit for mower deck clearance, I had to adjust the deck height so it wouldn't rub when the deck is fully raised. It just barely rubbed so yours may be slightly better or worse. I keep the spacers on all year. It does seem to make the tractor feel more stable when mowing side hills and using the loader. I have a pretty good hill to plow on a gravel driveway and use the diamond style chains with v-bars. It makes a huge difference, especially when it is icy. I use standard chains on the front too, helps with the steering.

When we purchase Kubota had the dealer put the spacer on,plenty room for the ice chains.
