I have a B2601 with a MMM. I would like to get wheel spacers for stability, possibly chains in the future. I would like to go 1.5-2 inches on a side. I was told by my dealer they will interfere with the MMM. I've read this on the BX tractors but not the B.

Looking at my machine I cant really figure what will interfere when the wheels space out an extra couple of inches. Is there more to this then just clearance?

thanks

What size of mower do you have...I think it depends...

My 2601 had a 54” mower and I had 2.5” spacers with no fitment issues...

The best thing to do is take a look at the rear of your deck in all aspects of its movement...you will notice where it gets close to the tires (more than likely the anti-scalp wheels and/or brackets).

i have the 54 inch deck. i cant see where there would be any issues with the set up i have.

You can jack up the tractor and move one rear wheel outward a measured distance and check for clearance (with the deck both high and low.) That will tell you most of the story. Chances are there will be minor conflict but if it is important for you, any good welding/fabricating shop can bend the wheel support rails (removed from the deck) to give a bit more clearance. I actually had new rails made for my B2150 MMM deck for the clearance issue having added 6" per side spacers.

I know it is a few months old but the dealer books said the same thing iirc with my b3200, mmm conflicter with rear wheel spacers, mmm conflicted with foot step kit.

I found neither to be an issue. I do have to work at rolling the mmm deck out from under the tractor but it comes out without that much of a fuss.
