Hello, this is my first post. My 1993 520H w/Onan 20hp and 820hrs recently started leaking oil from what seems to be behind the PTO pulley. I also noticed that I am getting exhaust smoke upon start-up and hard acceleration. I realize that I have 2 problems, the oil leak being the most critical. I can go through a quart of oil after a few hours of use. Is there a seal that I can replace myself? or any suggestions. Thanks
Paul

Check where the oil drain pipe screws into the engine. Oil can leak out there and seem like it's coming from around th power take-off pulley. The elbow comes loose after numerous oil changes, especially if you tip it down to drain and then tip it up when you are done. You have to loosen the engine mounting bolts enough to raise the engine in order to remove or tighten the elbow.
