Hi,
Thinking I might want a new HPX for use on my farm; the true 4x4 and a lift would be useful. But before pricing one, I'd like to get some idea of what the Gator I have is worth.
My Dad bought it new in the late 80s or early 90s. It's a 4x2 with no options and has a 10HP Kawasaki engine. I think it corresponds to the current Traditional TS model.
It's low time (but no hourmeter) and looks pretty good except for a few small rusty spots in the bed. Having been used mostly for short firewood hops and for spraying a few fruit trees, it probably doesn't have over 200 hrs. on it....maybe only half that. It's a good reliable little machine, but with 4x2 it's nearly useless in snow.
Last year I had an old snowblower with a for sale sign sitting in the bed of the Gator out next to the highway. People kept stopping to ask what I wanted for the Gator.
Would like to know what I'd likely get on a trade vs. what I might ask if I sold it myself.
Thanks,
Bob
