I found this in my driveway. Since it's NH blue, I assume it fell off my Boomer. Problem is, I can't find where it came from. It's obviously a rubber plug. Can anyone identify it?

Many thanks!

It's a rubber plug from a NH tractor /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

By the looks of it, I'd call it an assembly cap that was placed over a tube or pipe before the paint process. When the final assembly took place, it probably ended up getting tossed into some nook in the tractor until you dislodged it...with a hose spray I'll bet !

Well, if it was red, I'd say it's off the parking brake handle. Being painted blue, I'd tend to agree that it was a protective cover which got carelessly disposed of; maybe at your dealer when he was installing your loader. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Too obvious, but still pretty funny.

It's a blue UFO (unidentified falling object)
I hate it when stuff falls off mine too!

Argh. I knew that one was coming. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Funny if its a protective cap for painting. It appears to be neoprene. I would use cheap plastic for a temporary protective cap. <shrug>

Oh well, if the tractor doesnt blow up, I guess it wasn't important.

It is a rubber blue baby boomer bumper!!!!!!!! Seriously, it is just a protective cover installed for painting. Can't say for sure where it came from.

Easy for you to say! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Yea, I feel pretty secure now that it's just a paint plug. Pretty goofy to use a Neoprene plug when a .01 plastic one would have worked. Oh well, nothing but the best!

Kind of looks like the little rubber bumper that goes on top of the level indicator for the loader. (the metal rod that slides up and down showing when the bucket is level. Mine is black but ...
They pop off when you fully dump the bucket.
