Why don't you just go hunting with your wife and borrow it back for your wife to use?

Never loan money or goods to your friends....blah blah blah..... we all know that advice, and yet every one of us has been burned at one time or another.

I have always taught my boys that if a "friend" does not return something borrowed, that is the price of their friend's character. Someone borrows $5 for lunch and never pays you back....thats the value they have put on their own honor..........and you now know how much to value them; their word; their honor; or character. And by the way - true friends are priceless, with infinite value of character and trust

The only exception is if somehow they forget. I know I have been guilty of this a few times, not often. Which is why I always try to carry my own weight and then a little more.

It is a fine line. Pay for too much or too often and a real friend will feel uncomfortable.

don't have a wife or a girlfriend, so that excuse wouldn't work. if any of you have a single daughter you want to get married off let me know! she must have a tractor and a boat. send pic of tractor and boat

My neighbor's aunt is interested. Here are photos of her tractor and boat. If interested, she wants to see a copy of your latest bank statement.

haha yeah that was really funny. i can tell you on here what my last bank statement was, and you can pass along the info to her. hope the figures don't go to her head!

Why don't you just man up, go tell him what a sap he is, demand your gun and other stuff back he's borrowed over the years. (Sap is a family friendly word

I would have used a much more common word that you hear on television all the time).

After you get your truck loaded up with your stuff that he's taken over, drive away, don't say goodbye. Enough of this Mr. Rogers crap and letting people abuse you like a red-headed step child.
