Tires What's with the tires???

I purchased a new 5240 about two months ago. I have had two front tire flats over this time period. After looking over the tire I found that a stick had punctured the tire both times. I grew up operating tractors and can't remember ever getting a flat from a stick....Are these new tires to soft? Are they two thin?

Sticks have grown up since..... they are a lot tougher now days....

Sounds like you need to install tire sealant in your tires. That should fix your flat problem on any hole in the future up to about 1/4 inch in diameter.

What type of tires are on your tractor. I had a problem with flats on the front R4’s of mine until I put tubes in. That solved most of my problems.
