What's the easiest way to remove the rear wheel from a foton 254 ?

Can I just remove part#5 and part#4 and slide the rear wheel off? I want to get at the brakes to inspect and rattling noise while driving. They haven't been checked since they were new most likely.

Hi, the brake are not there.
They are in the round housing where the rod from pedal enter near the part shown in the pic. (If it is like my FT)
They are dry type shoe and drum. I haven't check mine too at 368h.
To remove the wheel you should have to remove the heavy wheel weight (if there is) then the wheel.

Thanks again. I figured removing the rear wheel would be easy so I could get at the rear brake assembly but maybe I'll leave it on.

Wouldn't taking Part #4 and #5 apart not let the whole wheel slide off without having to remove the wheel weights and wheel separately?

No, I don't mean to keep the wheels in place, I would not do it either to work on brake. Just use proper jack stand for safety.

I am just thinking that these parts (4 and 5) could be tricky to slide off the axle then to put back with all the wheel weight assembly.
If you do it your way, take care not being catch under if that wheel and weight assembly fall on you. Work slowly or better have someone with you.

Is it too much warning? I don't know, but better than sorry.
