question? i have a new l3010 with a 482 loader just 10 hrs onit
and now i notice a noise that seems to be coming from the loadr control valve, it ssounds like a hissing on and off or a gurgling sound that has a tempo to it ,, the questin is that can air get in them lines or how do i flush or get the noise out. i read the loader book and it says " not to put the loader in float with the bucket not on the ground" i think i did this woiuld this damage the loader or cause any problems and how do i correct that

thanks

The hissing you are hearing is the hydrolic fluid moving through the control valve. You more then likely did not damage the loader by dropping it once (but you should avoid this in the future if you can). Do not be afraid to drop the loader in an emergency.

It is possible to get air in the lines. The way to remove the air is to cycle the loader though its full range of movements including up, down, and bucket curl, and open. Once usually does the trick but do it a few times. Also check your hydro fluid level before doing all this.

Good luck.
