What's my tractor worth? L3940

I'm weighing my options here, and would like some feedback.

Looking at purchasing a new M5140 cab 4x4 loader. I have a 2010 L3940 4x4 gear loader with canopy with 330 hoursthat I would like to sell or trade in. My tractor is in very good/excellent condition. Only blemish is a small dent in rear of canopy from backing into a branch.


What is a real world value on the L3940, retail and trade in?

I have looked on some of the used tractor sites, but they sure vary in price, from about 18-21k... I don't know if there is a better source for identifying a fair value, maybe an auction sale price listing...

I am located in Texas, if that matters.

when you say "gear" do you mean the DT shuttle?

Yes, I believe DT shuttle is the correct term. I select the range and gear, then operate the shuttle with my left hand under the steering wheel.

The model per my Kubota Credit Contract is listed as a L3940DT-1
The Loader is an LA724

Tractor has a skid steer QA, brush guard, metal canopy, and R1 ag tires.

DT is a less desireable configeation than HST. I'd figure you'd knock 20-25% off what you paid to get a fair wholesale value.

I had it in my head to list it online for 19,750.00 and see what happens. Just didn't want to leave too much on the table, or be asking an unrealistic price either.

I'll list it for the above price, and see what happens...
