Oil & Fuel Whats it sound like when you run out of diesel?

FROM what i hear it can make a bit of noise, never had the experience myself. 1 question tho! why would you run that low on fuel? i never let my tank get below 1/2 then i refill. not trying to be critical here but i bet you don't let that happen again /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Mine got low only because I only have a 5 gallon diesel can. I had put lots of hours on it that weekend, and was trying to finish the job before it got dark. No breaks for lunch or anything. Granted, the 30 minutes spent filling the diesel can made skipping lunch irrelevant. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I ran low on fuel for the same reason I ran out of gas a few times in the truck and had to walk. Forgetfulness, laziness, procrastination.......

I still haven't filled up my diesel cans. They are yellow, so I'm sure there wasn't gas in there. Of course the way I've had my head up my tail lately, who knows??? Funny thing, I can see fuel in the bottom of the tank. I hope thats all thats wrong with it, but I leave home at 8:00 in the morning and get home at 8:00 at night every day during the week, so I haven't had a chance to get any fuel and try it again yet.
