What year is my JD X324

I just ordered a new JD X324. How do I tell what year it is? I told the dealer I want a 2011 only.

If you want a machine assembled in 2011, you may have to wait to take delivery. This a mower not an automobile. They do not start making 2011 models in sept 2010. This sounds like a demand made by one of THOSE customers. What is your reason for this request?

I don't have a vin number yet. Suppose to be delivered 2/22/11.
The reason for 2011 is they have design the deck to be easier to level.

Sorry about the THOSE people remark.:ashamed: You wouldn't believe the crazies that walk in making all kinds of demands. I checked the sales literature. That is a nifty setup for deck leveling. I hope there is a secure spot for the leveling key.:laughing: One of the main reasons I lurk around this site is to find out about these updates. The sales guys never seem to share this kind of info with the service guys. We find out about it when it comes in the door.
