What year is it?

Can any of you tell me how to determine the year of my Yanmar,LX410? it's supposed to be a 2013, but I don't see that anywhere????

I think only a serial number check with a factory rep in Georgia could get that information for you.

A data plate on top of the engine will have a date on it, but that is specific to when the engine was assembled and may not be precisely the year the tractor rolled off the assembly line, but it should be close.

In any event, I'm not aware of any mechanical or functional differences between LX model years.

Thanks for the input. I know it don't really matter, after some research. But just curious to see if I was misled. Not that big of a deal. I'm still going to enjoy my tractor!

The serial number will tell you for sure. When I bought mine the salesman wasn't sure if it was a 2013 or 2014 so I looked at the battery to see when it was dated (2014). I know someone could always put a newer battery in, however on a tractor with less than 2hrs I doubt anyone swapped that battery.
