Good Morning;

I just recently purchased a BX2230 (670 hrs.) and would like opinions about hydralic and engine oils. My old BX1500 used only Kubota oils, but they are pricey. Is there a good alternative to these oils out there?:confused:

I have Kubota SUDT in my HST, but I'm thinking I might try the SUDT2 next time because of the whine.
My engine, I have Shell Rotella T6 full synthetic. The 3 cylinder diesel engine can really vibrate a "LOT", especially at low idle. This made a huge difference. Now it only vibrates a "lot".

I would stick with UDT, SUDT or SUDT2 in the trans. I tried universal hyd. oil and was a mistake. Ran hotter and noisier. Rotella T6 is great for the engine.
I use SUDT2 in the trans and much better performance and quieter.

Used the super udt if you live in the places where it can get quite cold during the winter months. I haven't used rotella T6 at all, so i cant tell you anything about that. I used Kubota Super UDT and Kubota engine oil in my BX2370 and I love the way that it runs.
