What type of fluid is recommended for a ferguson to-30

My to-30 is low on tranny fluid and I'm not sure exactly what kind to use.
I've read that the ford 90 from TSC will work. I don't know this to be fact. I read it somewhere.
Is this correct?
And is there any type available from an auto part store?
I'm in florida so cold isn't an issue.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I've also read that 30 wt motor oil will work.
Anyone know of any issues with using motor oil?

Motor oil is what was speced for Gravely's transmissions. Regular 30 wt won't be good to -30; I wouldn't think.

75w90 transmission oil is just about 20w motor oil. They're just rated at different operating temperatures.

I'd be inclined to use M1 0w20 or get the Ford synthetic manual transmission oil. That's what many of us use in our Mazda Miatas.

GL-1 is speced but it's hard to find. NAPA carries it. Any good quality Transhydraulic fluid will work. Some people use motor oil also. It takes 24 quarts/6 gallons for a refill.

My mid-50's Oliver Super 55 calls for 10w-30. Obviously different manufacturers have different recommendations but your tractor and mine come from the same era with the same technology so I would think this would be a safe bet.
